Imagine a Greater Austin where every home and business flies a rainbow flag in June to celebrate our community's diversity and create a friendly environment for LGBTQIA+ people.
Who We Are
QWELL Community Foundation works to create an LGBTQIA+ culture of health and self-actualization in Greater Austin, Texas, by engaging LGBTQIA+ residents, connecting them with resources they can use to improve their wellbeing, and supporting our partner charities and affirming businesses.
When the pandemic hit in 2020, QWELL started FreePrideFlag.com to help residents of Travis, Williamson, Bastrop, Hays, and Caldwell Counties safely celebrate Pride at home.
Our Free Pride Flag program advances QWELL’s core goals by:
- Identifying LGBTQIA+ friendly businesses/employers to which QWELL can refer LGBTQIA+ residents;
- Mapping concentrations of LGBTQIA+ residents so QWELL can locate its planned community centers nearby; and,
- Enhancing the visibility of our community’s renowned support for LGBTQIA+ people.

All purchases and donations are non-refundable.
HOW IT WORKS
1.
Build your cart by adding multiple quantities of each style of Free Pride Flag that you want to see flying in your neighborhood.
2.
When you checkout, please let us know if you want QWELL to distribute the flags for you instead of inviting the public to visit you to pick up their flags. This is a great option if your business is office or home-based (not open to the public for pick-up).
3.
Youth in our Pride Scouts program will register people to visit your business to claim their flags! Pick-up starts June 1.
4.
Every flag you sponsor will be delivered with an acknowledgment of your generosity whether you distribute the flags yourself or have QWELL give them out for you. The recipient of your gift will know they have you to thank!
