QWELL Community Foundation improves the health, wealth, and happiness of the nation's third largest openly LGBTQIA+ population here in Greater Austin, Texas.

QWELL's work includes:
Building mixed-use developments that include LGBTQIA+ friendly affordable housing and senior housing, clinical spaces for QWELL's partner organizations, and LGBTQIA+ community centers, with a vibrant street level of shops and restaurants;

Conducting the annual Queer Wellbeing Study in collaboration with researchers at the University of Texas at Austin and Dell Medical School. This data is used by nonprofits and local governments to guide and evaluate programs to improve queer wellbeing;

A Queer Health Equity Program that is shepherding more than 70 local clinics through the Healthcare Equality Index in 2023 alone;

The forthcoming GREATER smartphone app to anonymously connect LGBTQIA+ people with friendly businesses, healthcare, employers, and each other;

FreePrideFlag.com, which has distributed 5,000 free rainbow flags in Central Texas; and,

ColorsOfPride.org, the only Pride event celebrating queer/trans people of color of all backgrounds and origins (and the most accessible Pride event in Texas - free, indoors, air-conditioned, with free food and drinks). The 2nd annual Colors of Pride will be on Saturday, June 24, 2023.

Promote your business by helping us cover Greater Austin with rainbow flags for Pride Month 2022!

Greater Austin has the nation’s 3rd largest LGBTQIA+ population – and many allies, too – hundreds of thousands of people who want to support businesses that celebrate our community’s diversity and friendliness.

92% of local LGBTQIA+ people say it is important that they spend their money at businesses that have their back.

Your support makes a big difference. Many LGBTQIA+ people do not feel safe or welcome in Greater Austin, and your gift of a rainbow flag shows them that someone cares that they are here.

We hope all our friends and families will fly flags to show their love, support, and pride. It is important for our allies to be out and proud, too – especially here in Central Texas!

HOW IT WORKS

1.

Build your cart by adding multiple quantities of each style of Free Pride Flag that you want to see flying in your neighborhood.

2.

When you checkout, please let us know if you want QWELL to distribute the flags for you instead of inviting the public to visit you to pick up their flags. This is a great option if your business is office or home-based (not open to the public for pick-up).

3.

Youth in our Pride Scouts program will register people to visit your business to claim their flags! Pick-up starts June 1.

4.

Every flag you sponsor will be delivered with an acknowledgment of your generosity whether you distribute the flags yourself or have QWELL give them out for you. The recipient of your gift will know they have you to thank!

You must complete your sponsorship by March 31, 2022,
so that we can have the flags Made in America and delivered for you to give away beginning June 1st!
